Tickets for England Women’s one-day international against Bangladesh Women at the County Ground in Hove went on general sale on Saturday 10 October, giving supporters who missed the ballot a direct route to the 2027 fixture.
What has changed for England Women v Bangladesh at Hove
Sussex Cricket’s official homepage now states that tickets are on general sale from 10 October. The club previously used a ballot and priority windows, so this is the first broad public-sales stage for the match.
The club’s fixture announcement confirms the Friday 17 September 2027 date and a provisional 12.30pm start. Sussex’s fixtures page also lists the County Ground pairing.
The England and Wales Cricket Board lists Hove as the first match of a three-game ODI series, followed by Canterbury on 21 September and Chelmsford on 24 September.
Why this matters for Sussex sport
International women’s cricket returning to Hove gives Sussex supporters a rare home-county opportunity to watch England without travelling to a larger Test venue. Sussex Cricket said the 2026 England Women v New Zealand Women T20 at Hove sold out, which makes early booking sensible, although it does not guarantee the same demand or sell-out timetable for this ODI.
The match also arrives after a strong domestic season at Hove. Readers can see how Sussex finished in our report on the club’s third-place County Championship finish.
What supporters need to know
- Buy only through Sussex Cricket’s official site or an authorised seller linked from it.
- Check the final basket for the exact seat, age category, booking charge and any delivery fee before payment.
- Treat 12.30pm as provisional until Sussex Cricket or the ECB reconfirms the schedule closer to the match.
- Do not make non-refundable travel plans solely from an early fixture listing; broadcast and operational details can change.
- Accessibility, group and hospitality arrangements should be checked directly with the venue before purchase if required.
Brighton Locals’ view
Our assessment: opening general sale more than eleven months ahead gives families and cricket supporters time to plan and spread the cost. The useful fact is not simply that an international is coming to Hove, which was announced in July, but that the public-sales stage has now begun. Sussex should keep the sales page clear about remaining price bands and availability so “early-bird” remains meaningful.
What to watch next
Watch for the full ticket-price table, hospitality information and confirmation of gate times and the final first-ball time. The club expects demand after the previous women’s international sold out, but availability should be checked live rather than inferred from that comparison.
Bottom line: the ballot is no longer the only route. England Women v Bangladesh Women at Hove is now available to the general public, subject to remaining seats.
