Brighton & Hove Albion supporters have two new away-ticket decisions to make after the club published sales details on Monday 5 October for trips to Hull City and Panathinaikos.
The first priority windows for both fixtures open on Tuesday 6 October. Hull is a Premier League match at the MKM Stadium on Sunday 22 November at 2pm, while Albion’s UEFA Conference League visit to Panathinaikos is in Athens on Thursday 17 December at 8pm UK time.
Brighton away tickets: the two sales schedules
Hull City v Brighton
The club’s official Hull City ticket notice sets five priority windows:
- Tuesday 6 October: season-ticket holders and 1901 Club members with 284+ loyalty points.
- Wednesday 7 October: the same groups with 227+ points.
- Thursday 8 October: the same groups with 206+ points.
- Friday 9 October: all season-ticket holders and 1901 Club members.
- Tuesday 13 October: all MyAlbion+ members, subject to availability.
Adult tickets cost £30. Tickets are £25 for supporters aged 16–22 and for those aged 65 or over, while under-16s pay £14. Under-14s must attend with an adult aged over 18, and the club says children under two will not be admitted.
The fixture carries 10 loyalty points. Tickets will be digital only and the club says they will be sent on Monday 26 October. Seagull Travel is also running coaches with pick-up points across East and West Sussex; bookings are available through the link in Albion’s official notice.
The Premier League’s November broadcast schedule independently confirms the Sunday 22 November date and 2pm kick-off.
Panathinaikos v Brighton
Albion’s new Panathinaikos ticket notice lists four windows:
- Tuesday 6 October: pre-registered season-ticket holders and 1901 Club members with 208+ points.
- Wednesday 7 October: all pre-registered season-ticket holders and 1901 Club members.
- Thursday 8 October: all pre-registered MyAlbion+ members.
- Friday 9 October: all season-ticket holders, 1901 Club members and MyAlbion+ members, including those who did not pre-register, subject to availability.
Adult tickets cost £17 and carry five loyalty points. The club says the points threshold is fixed using balances as of Tuesday 15 September, so points earned from Coventry City or Manchester United in the League Cup do not change a supporter’s window.
Albion’s earlier Conference League away-ticket announcement said the Panathinaikos allocation was 3,541. The new notice confirms digital-only tickets but does not yet add detailed Athens travel or stadium-entry guidance.
Why this matters locally
These are not interchangeable sales. The Hull ladder rewards current loyalty points and eventually opens to MyAlbion+ members. Athens gives pre-registration a major role before a wider Friday window, and uses a points snapshot taken weeks before the sale.
That distinction matters because supporters who assume their latest points count may try on the wrong day. It also means anyone considering flights or accommodation should verify that their purchase window has opened and that tickets remain available before committing to non-refundable travel.
What supporters need to do
- Check the points balance and membership attached to every person in the booking.
- Use the correct sale date for the fixture; the club’s announcements list dates but do not state a sale time, so check the official Albion ticket portal before the window opens.
- Assign each away ticket to its real user at checkout. The club says names cannot be changed after booking.
- Do not pass a ticket to someone else. Albion says misuse can lead to a five-home-match ban, loss of away-purchase access during that period and a 50-point deduction.
- For Athens, wait for the club’s promised supporter-travel and stadium information before finalising plans that depend on entry arrangements.
Brighton Locals’ view
Publishing both sets of details on the same day is useful, but the two eligibility systems create an avoidable trap: current points determine Hull priority, while an older snapshot and pre-registration shape Athens access. Supporters should treat the club’s account screen—not memory or a recent points total—as the deciding evidence.
The £17 Athens price is notably accessible for a European away match, but the ticket is only one part of the cost. The responsible choice is to secure eligibility first and keep travel flexible until the club publishes the remaining guidance.
What to watch next
Availability after each priority window will decide whether the later sales proceed in practice. For Athens, the next important update is detailed supporter travel and stadium information. For Hull, supporters should watch for any changes to coach availability and the digital-ticket delivery planned for 26 October.
Bottom line
Two Brighton away-ticket sales start on 6 October, but they use different rules. Check the right points threshold, buy only in your eligible window and avoid non-refundable travel until your ticket is secure.
