Brighton & Hove City Council is recruiting a Street Cleansing Driver Supervisor at Hollingdean Depot. The role leads frontline teams delivering street-cleaning services across the city.

What the role involves

The supervisor coordinates daily street-cleansing operations, briefs staff, monitors performance and ensures health, safety and environmental procedures are followed. The job also includes street inspections, operational reporting, supporting city events and working with residents and community groups.

The council is looking for supervisory experience in an operational or frontline setting, a valid driving licence, good IT and reporting skills and confidence handling staff and service issues. Experience in street cleansing, waste, highways, facilities or a similar environment would be useful but is not essential.
