The post covers diagnostic serology and molecular work, validation activity, quality standards and participation in the department’s seven-day rota.

HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist is required. The Trust is seeking applicants with specialist virology knowledge; candidates completing an IBMS Specialist Diploma in Virology or Microbiology may also be considered under the published progression arrangements.
