Service Manager – Social Interest Group, Brighton

Social Interest Group is recruiting a Service Manager to lead a women’s refuge service in Brighton. The permanent role pays £38,300 a year for 37.5 hours a week and is advertised to close on Saturday 31 October 2026, although the employer may close it earlier.

What the role involves

The manager will lead day-to-day service delivery, support and supervise staff, manage risk, oversee housing and property standards and monitor the service budget. The service supports women and children surviving domestic abuse, so the role calls for trauma-informed leadership and experience working with complex needs.

Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, but occasional work outside those times and participation in an out-of-hours managers’ rota may be required.
