Music Teacher (PPA Provision) – Patcham Junior School, Brighton

Patcham Junior School is looking for a part-time Music Teacher to deliver lessons during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time and lead the development of music across the school. The Brighton post is for 14.25 hours a week and is due to begin in January 2027.

What the role involves

The teacher will plan and deliver music across the school, develop the subject curriculum and contribute to performances, clubs, productions and other enrichment. The school is looking for a confident teacher who can support positive behaviour, work collaboratively and build good relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

Visits can be arranged through the school office. Shortlisted applicants are expected to be interviewed on 21 October 2026, and the appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
