Plumpton College is recruiting an Agriculture Practical Coordinator to connect its working farm with the agriculture curriculum team and help students gain well-planned, industry-relevant practical experience.

- Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
- Hours: Full time, normally 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work
- Contract: Permanent, all year
- Closing: 8am on 16 October 2026
What the job involves
The role coordinates practical sessions, schedules, equipment, materials and livestock so farm activity supports course plans and assessment. It also includes teaching, assessment, tutoring, student progress work and involvement in open days and employer engagement.
Applicants need relevant agricultural knowledge and industry experience, plus a degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience. A teaching qualification is required, or the willingness to work towards one. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and does not offer visa sponsorship.
